German officials along with Parliamentary Secretary of State Gundrum Kopp visited Sapana Village on 06th march 2012. They were welcomed by a group of Tharu women on their arrival offering the garlands of flowers. They participated on natural and cultural activities like Elephant Jungle Ride, Canoe trip and Elephant Breeding Centre and Tharu stick dance.
The Managing Director of Sapana Village Lodge Mr Dhurba Giri informed them about the origin of lodge and its supports to local communities on his 20 minutes presentation.
