08 th – January, 2011- It was an amazing surprise to be invited by groups of young and respected people from different communities to honor me as a dedicated social worker. I was holding the chairmanship of inaugural function of Sauraha – Chitrasari connecting wooden bridge along with the gathering of journalists and media channels. A big mass of women group on their traditional dresses were offering me Tika (red colour) and bunch of flowers while I looked very shy and uncomfortable. The rally began to walk towards Gothauli Tharu village where we were welcomed and honored by young kids, men and women beautifully dressed up in typical Tharu uniforms and taking colored pots and flowers. We visited the various projects together supported by Sapana Village and the whole mass walked to another village called Siswar. After receiving great respect and honored by group of women and men, the mass got into the jeep to reach Malpur near Sapana Village . After the short speeches and greetings by number of club members and respected individuals, the rally on motorbikes and jeeps moved towards the center of Sauraha everyone weaving hands and cheering. The final session of the function ended up driving together to Sapana Village where I thanked and said good bye to all.

Without the loving support and companionship of all close friends, supporters, donors and beloved partner, Sapana Village wouldn’t have reached at this successful stage.
