Namaste! Being the resident of the eastern part of Nepal close to the Indian boarder and grown up in the Bhojpuri family, I could hardly speak and understand Nepali. People in our society speak Bhojpuri language even though Nepali is our national language.
The financial condition of my poor family couldn’t afford my education in school although the government schools in the village were for free. I had to help my family working in the field and looking after animals to make sure we had enough to eat.
My visit to my relatives in Chitwan some years ago inspired me to work in this hotel. I work as a cook helper and I already have a feeling of being a good cook in Sapana’s kitchen in the near future.
