Floods and landslides have badly hit across the country causing hundreds of deaths, materials loss and thousands of houses destroyed. Displaced people have been suffering from hunger and various infectious due to the contaminated drinking water and environmental pollution.
With the water levels continuing to rise due to heavy rainfall, Sapana Village Lodge, Sapana School, organic vegetables farm run by a group of Musahar families, elephant shelter and Sapana Design Project are also affected by the floods. A few rooms and the outside areas are filled with muds that could take couple of weeks to clean up everything.
There is no big damages and the entire team is safe. We will bounce back from the hits of disasters. We must be ready to welcome the guests as soon as the lockdown is over and the COVID situation is normal.
