Driving about 40 kilometers North-east of Chitwan through green mountains and monsoon rivers, our team reached at Shree National Secondary School in Majbang village. Standing in a queue in their school uniforms holding garlands of flowers to offer us with red tika, the students from that remote area looked amazingly happy on our arrival. It was definitely a surprise for 105 school children and their parents when we loaded off the bundles of school uniforms including shirts, skirts, pants, socks and shoes. A few hand-made woolen-sweaters made by retired Dutch women from Netherlands were given to the poor children suffering from cold.
The uniforms distribution program was jointly organized by School Management Committee and Teachers-Guardians Union to convey their special thanks to the contributors Sapana Village, Chitwan and the musicians from Aalsmeer, Netherlands.
